This weekend is the annual Sunset Strip Music Fest in Hollywood, where all those famous Sunset Strip bars & clubs like The Viper Room & Whiskey A Go-Go have 3 nights of amazing shows & tributes with the highlight being on Saturday when the streets are literally closed off to host one of the biggest & bad ass street events. While The Offspring & Marilyn Manson, 2 bands I love, will be headlining this year, I most likely won’t be in attendance, but it made me want to look back at the great time I had in 2010 when I went to see one of my most favorite bands, The Smashing Pumpkins, for the 2nd time. Slash & guests put on a fabulous set, too! Enjoy….
