The Grrl Fair in Anaheim is THIS Saturday!

When you think of Anaheim, CA, I bet you immediately envision that Happiest Place on Earth. While it’s definitely a highlight of the Orange County city, they do have alot more to offer, & some pretty great musicians hail from there. Think no further than No Doubt & Jeff Buckley.

Each quarter, Anaheim hosts their Art Crawl Experience & every year for their May event, they’re joined by The Grrl Fair. An awesome, fun day for all ages celebrating women in the arts. Think DIY art, music, photography & even ‘zines (anyone remember those?!). I am really excited to be involved with The Grrl Far, which is celebrating their 12th year. Woo hoo!

There will be delicious food (& vegan options), drinks, rock & roll starting in the evening & loads of great artwork to see. So, if you’re in the area & free this Saturday, I hope I see you there 🙂

  1. This sounds like a great Saturday to spend with the family. Here in Northern California (Sacramento), there is Second Saturday that celebrates the local artists. I love this idea of empowering women in the arts.

  2. How fun, wish I were there that day. BTW: I’ll be in SoCal for over a week in June. We must meet up. 🙂

  3. Kalamazoo, Michigan has a great art scene. Part of this is the monthly Art Hop. The first Friday of every month is devoted to area artists and showing off their work. They are able to set up booths and such through down town.

  4. Susan, I think we must be distant reletives. The Huntington is my most favorite CA museum 😉 We can plan my NorCal trip over tea, hehe!

  5. Awesome! Sorry I missed it! I have had my calendar on April…since April! And I just now realized that it’s May! Absent minded, that’s me!

  6. This sounds like it was an awesome event! 🙂
